Public Participation in the Climate Change Issues (Hungary)

  • 1 October 2024, 10:00-17:00
  • Kortárs Építészeti Központ Rendezvénytér

On 1 October 2024, we will be organising a full-day workshop that will focus on research related to the complex impacts of climate change, and on the opportunities and techniques for engaging the public in a meaningful way.

This morning's programme (10:00 am - 1:00 pm) includes exciting talks from leading experts about domestic water management and conservation, results from citizen science projects and innovative approaches to communicating global climate change. (The presentations are in Hungarian with simultaneous interpretation in English.)

In the afternoon (2:00 pm - 5: 00 pm), interactive sessions will introduce you to the practice of placemaking and give you a hands-on taste of new approaches to organising workshops that can be used to work more effectively with communities of diverse participants. (The afternoon interactive workshops will be held in both English and Hungarian.)

For details of the event programme, please visit the Community Gardens Project website.

Participation in the workshop is free but registration is required. You can register by 12:00 pm on 27 September at https://forms.gle/j65iBLU7VL8BS4Ws8
