On April 12, we got together with some really enthusiastic and committed locals at the Gáthy Zoltán City Library in Dorog to come up with some community solutions for our environmental challenges. We met with some local patriots who are really determined and creative, and it looks like they're going to be really successful.
The workshop, which was put on by the Contemporary Architecture Centre Foundation (KÉK), was all about getting local civil organisations and the municipality working more closely together. During the workshop, which was run by two top experts (Dr. Borbála Fellegi and Dr. Virág Vajna), participants looked at problems in Dorog and came up with some practical solutions, as well as picking up some useful methods and getting local cooperation going again!
This workshop was the first in a series taking place in the project partners' selected geographical target areas until 30 May across all the countries taking part. We're focusing on Komárom-Esztergom County in Hungary for our workshops, and we're holding sessions in a couple of places, including Dorog.
The second workshop in the Dorog series is going to be held at the Gáthy Zoltán City Library on 17 May, 2025 starting at 14:00.
