Building a Shared Vision for Sárisáp – The Second RurALL Workshop

  • 21 06 2026
  • Sárisáp, Hungary

On 21 June, we held the second workshop in Sárisáp as part of the RurALL co-creation process. The atmosphere was full of energy and openness, and we were delighted to welcome several new participants to the group.

Together, we created a local value map, exploring what matters most to the people of Sárisáp and how these values can guide a climate-resilient rural future. We also continued developing the previously prioritised local needs and ideas. Focusing on the most supported proposals, we began identifying the necessary resources, implementation steps, activities and sub-tasks that would move them toward realisation.

Importantly, we also defined the specific sites and issues that will become the focus of our autumn eco-placemaking workshop – concrete, hands-on interventions that will lead to visible, locally grounded results.

It was truly uplifting to work with this small but deeply committed community. Their dedication, mutual respect, and sense of care for Sárisáp are exemplary. This kind of collaboration is at the heart of the RurALL approach.

The workshop was co-facilitated by Borbála Fellegi and Virág Vajna, who brought fresh perspectives and care to the collective process.
